Multi-Panel Wall Art: How to Make a Big Wall Look Amazing

A single print can look lost on a large wall. Multi-panel wall art — one design split across two or more panels — fills the space with impact and gives a modern, gallery-style finish.

Popular layouts

  • 2 panels (diptych): clean and balanced — great above a double bed.
  • 3 panels (triptych): the classic choice above a sofa or console table.
  • 4 panels: a long horizontal row for wide living rooms, or a 2 × 2 square for a bold focal point.
  • 5 panels and more: staggered heights for maximum drama in lobbies, restaurants and offices.

Which designs split best?

Wide scenes with a strong horizon look especially good split across panels:

Spacing tips

  • Leave a small, even gap of about 3–5 cm between panels.
  • Measure the full width of the layout including the gaps before ordering.
  • Above furniture, aim for the complete layout to be about two-thirds of the furniture's width.
